Endless Garden
This is our garden area. It is the length of the house. This picture just doesn't really show how long it is. We have been working on sifting the rocks out of it for three weeks. I think it was 75% rock and 25% dirt. However we are finally done digging rocks and tomorrow we will finish mixing the fertilizer in and hopefully get the planting started. We already have the tomatoes green peppers, jalepeno's, and lettuce started so we gotta get them in the ground.
This is the mountain of rocks we hauled out of the garden. It started out the low point in our yard. Well now we have to figure out what to do with the rocks i'm sure my boys can think of something. But that is a problem for a later day.

Back to the Rain
Florida was amazing. Are oldest played tour guide on new adventures everyday. That was the best part was getting to spend the time with Alex. We went to a huka bar for dinner the first night. They smoke tobbaco in these huge pipes. I didn't partake in the huka. I never have smoked, but enjoyed some new food. We went to the JAX Zoo. I got to see my favorite animal the Elephant, and lots of other cool animals.
We also went to a Japanese steak house were they prepare your food at your table. It was alot of fun. The next day we went to the Ripley believe it or not museum and the Atlantic ocean. The museum was fun. The beachs on the East coast are so much diffrent than the ones on the West Coast. Its warm the sand is so soft I loved it. On the way home their was this colorful sunset.
The last day we went to the universal theme park in Orlando FL. It was fun going on the rides and for dinner we went to the Hard Rock Cafe. Then back to the Hotel to pack and get and hour and a half of sleep before heading to the airport for home.

Lifes UPS and Downs
Their are days as a parent that you can feel pride and heartach all at them same time depending on the child, even if they are an adult. One child hates school. Like alot of children and hasn't tried and as a result is failing. The last few days though he has really been putting out a good effort. I am proud of him and he is seeing success! Know the goal is keeping him motivated. So far he is responing I am very proud. Then on the other hand Alex had a major let down in the military. Life doesn't always go as we plan and its hard to change corse when you have your heart set on something. As his Mom though it hurts because he is an adult now and I can't just kiss his hurts make him laugh and things are all better. I guess thats part and parcel with being a parent, we celebrate their success with them and we ache when they hurt.

Looking forward to.......
We have a couple of upcoming adventures. We have really been trying to make an effort to go do things. As they say "You only get one ride on this big blue ball so make the most of it.
First we are going to the Brad Paisley concert the last weekend of the month. Its a first for both Joe and I. For me its my first arena concert. As for Joe it is his first country concert.
Second in April we are going to Florida to see Alex graduate from his Navy training. I am looking forward to seeing him. Iam also excited to see the atlantic ocean. I hear it is warm and the most beautiful blue.
Now I should get started on tonights travels. The Walmart where I can watch people and get food all at once.

Son Break
I was invited to go to a womans confrence this weekend. Not only did I get to spend time with amazing women from very diffrent places. I learned alot about myself. About strength in who you are no matter where you are in your life. Now the key to that information is holding on to it and remembering. Like so many things that impact us in life as time goes by it fades and we get back into the rut and routine of life. So tommorow when I have to go back to work and all those personalities mesh into a room I am going to remember. Those who have all the answers don't know the question.

Mansions and Macbeth
I had a great weekend. We went to see Meeker mansion in Puyallup, WA. It was built in the 1800's and is beautiful. I enjoyed it more thanks to Joe. He brings beautiful details to my attention I would have never noticed. After cruising the mansion we went to an antique shop it was kind of fun seeing a mix of really old kinda old and just junk.
This was my favorite room in the mansion. The red lamp is great.
Joe and I infront of the mansion.

That was our Sauturday. Sunday we went to see Macbeth at the local community Theater. The weird sisters (the three witches) were great. My favorites were Macduff and his cousin. It was funny they had a small cast and you would see people who had just died pop up in the next scene as someone else. If you werent paying attention it got confusing. It was really nice.
I am looking forward to December their is so much going on.
